I was a big fan of this forum and, before this Shap guy took over, they banned my ass for MONTHS without a reason. I didn't post any copyrighted content or insult people, I literally was goven no explanation as to why.

Just deleted my LPSG account after being a member for two years. The site has gone to shit. It's new approach to 'sharing content' is basically to ban anyone who tries to share and encourage users to join individual model's OF or JFF (kind of the opposite of what the forums were about). LOL You guys are great. Nobody gets banned for sharing content. Prior to taking over people got banned all the time for posting shared content. That was changed in April and nobody gets banned now. Small warnings at best. Anybody who was banned for copyright/shared content can email to get it reversed.

I noticed a lot of threads are also pretty messy and malicious. That gag3 thread is filled with psychos and stalkers.
The only thing good about it lpsg was that it separated content so we don't have dig through these rando threads with random people from their cities.

lpsg and even mg feel basically the same to me lately. the only difference is that there are more ofs popping up and more guys are aware of both forums, so are issuing takedowns quickly.

i also think it doesn't help that some people have profited off of trading/selling and that hoarding mentality has made things seem lighter when takedowns are getting issued more frequently.

The situation in LPSG is not that bad, sure some people can't be openly discussed, but there's always a way. I disagree with Shap's statement about performers being hurt and defenseless. Only a small percentage of them are actually worth a dime. The rest are just milking money out of desperate gays. I'm certain the ones who complained to him are the latter. The site has more problems with bitchy people making mean comments, spreading gossip, and obsessively stalk and watch everything their object of obsession does. Personally I use LPSG, MG, and torrent site, so far they work for me.

the donation banner (i think it was last year) said that the ads on this site pay nothing. i remember what the site was like when there were standard porn ads many years ago. i'm sure you hate popups and other retarded porn ads just like everyone else. they might make just enough every month to cover costs, but then some moron who is too stupid to send in a removal request will contact the advertisers and get them to suspend the account (and withhold the earnings). that happened many times to mg over the years and i've seen it happen to other sites too.
