One of the greatest travesties of all time? We came so close to Joseph Gordon-Levitt being in a hardcore porn. But the director wanted "real-looking" couples for the movie Shortbus. There's allegedly a jack off tape JGL made that only the director has seen that was supposed to be his audition. JGL even confirmed this, and there was a picture of him holding the tape in a picture (that is impossible to find now) that had "Shartbus Audition Tape" scribbled on it. Could be a publicity stunt, but damn. Too bad it never or may never leak if it does indeed exist.

Maybe he'll pull another publicity stunt and actually release it. Haven't seen him in any big productions recently, so this may be his ticket to get back in the spotlight (assuming he's not going to leap back into it easily in the near future).
